One two-month cruise circling the Australian Coast is being halted following the death of an senior female passenger who was stranded by the ship on a remote island.

The elderly woman had been hiking on the remote island with shipmates from the Coral Adventurer, but broke off from the party for a rest. The vessel departed without her and went back later that day after the personnel realised the passenger was not present.
